Myles Coker

A qualified and experienced environmental engineer in waterways and drainage, Myles works as a Strategic Design Lead with D-Lab, GHD’s global innovation practice. The role is dedicated to leading multi-disciplinary teams to discover unmet human needs and create solutions using a designer’s mindset and toolkit. Myles is driven to create new solutions of sustained value for people in harmony with connected communities, ecosystems and economies. Myles' experience includes establishing and managing complex design-led initiatives in water, environment and community development. These experiences required a holistic and collaborative approach to deliver outcomes across government, education and business, including programs driving private investment in catchment management (www.aquafondo.org.pe); integrated planning (www.greeningthewest.org.au); design-led innovation (www.smartseeds.org); and regional entrepreneurship (www.startupshakeup.co). Myles is also the President of the River Basin Management Society, a member-based volunteer organisation dedicated to knowledge sharing and positive change in catchment and river management (www.rbms.com.au).
