Alex Sims
I am a geomorphologist at Alluvium Consulting. In 2020 I completed my PhD at the University of Melbourne, where I examined the catchment-scale movement of sediment pulses (sand slugs) and the management responses that can be used to improve stream health. I am particularly interested in combining field surveys with hydraulic and sediment transport modelling to better understand and manage sediment-vegetation interactions.
