Stephanie E Brown
Steph is an environmental engineer who wants to create catchments and cities that are sustainable, healthy and vibrant regions for both the natural environment and the people living in them. She has a breadth of project experience across urban waterway renewals, planning and strategy work, and integrated water management. Steph has worked on numerous award-winning projects, including the Scrubby Creek Catchment Recovery Plan and the Small Creek Transformation. With six years of consulting experience in Brisbane and Melbourne, Steph has now jumped back into study, tackling a Masters of Ecosystem Science at the Waterway Ecosystem Research Group (University of Melbourne). Through her research, she is exploring the essential role of headwater streams across Melbourne. What is their ecological role and how do they process carbon in different environments?
