Danielle Cairns
This study presents findings of an MSc thesis completed by Danielle Cairns under the supervision of Gary Brierley and Gretel Boswijk in the School of Environment (SoE) at the University of Auckland (UoA). Danielle is a Geographer who works at the interface of physical and human geography. She completed her Honours dissertation on microplastics in Auckland Streams. Gretel is an Associate Professor in the SoE at UoA. She is a landscape geographer, with particular interest in heritage, environmental changed, and historical uses of kauri in Aotearoa and beyond. Gary is Chair of Physical Geography in the SoE at UoA. His latest book is entitled: Finding the Voice of the River (Palgrave, 2020)
